King Khufu's sons
King Khufu had sons, the most important of whom is King "Jedf Ra", who took over the rule immediately after his father, but he built his pyramid in an area known as "Abu Rawash" located in the north of the Giza pyramids, and it is not known until now why he did not build a pyramid next to his father, and scholars of Egyptian antiquities believe that after the death of King Khufu, there were quarrels between the children, so Jedf Ra preferred to build a pyramid in this place.
As for the other son, King Khafre, who took over the rule after the death of his brother, as King "Jedf Ra" ruled for only 8 years, and we do not know the cause of this sudden death, and King Khafre built a pyramid next to his father's pyramid in the Giza archaeological area, and there were also two other sons of King Khufu, Prince "Jedf Ra", and Prince "Pau F Ra", son of Queen Meret S, who never ascended to the throne. There is also Prince "Khufu Kha'af", who is the son of one of the queens, although we do not know her name, and there are two other princes, "Kha'af Min", who carried the title of the eldest son of the king from his lineage, which is the title that Prince "Kao Ab" carried before and Prince "Nefer Maat II", who was the grandson of King Sneferu, but Lin was the son of King Khufu.
